Football World Cup 2014

  1. Will anyone be watching it? Who do you think will win?

I'll be watching most of matches but some on really late at night so might not watch them apart from one of the England matches which is on quite late.

I'm not really sure who'll win. I guess it'll be one of the South American teams cos they'll more used to the conditions.

  2. Definitely be watching it. Hopefully it is remember for the football and not what happens off the pitch.

You right you would have to fancy one of the South American teams but you can never rule out the Germans or the Dutch or indeed Spain who are probably the most likely of the European teams.

I fancy Brazil myself, can't really see anyone stopping them on home soil.

  3. Yes, I'd be really surprised if Brazil or Argentina weren't the winners.

Spain and Holland are in the same group along with Chile who will give both of them a hard game.

  4. I probably won't have any other choice than to watch it. I'll be cheering on England but they probably won't make it out of their group.

  5. You could be right ClareBearClareBear - its a difficult group!

  7. Rachel Riley has been poring over historical World Cup data to use statistics to pinpoint this year's potential winners - with a surprising prediction.

Thank you ClareBearClareBear. Look at all that football!

  8. I thought the Opening Ceremony was good but I couldn't here Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull etc singing the World Cup song the sound was very poor

  9. I said the exact same thing at the time yesterday. I think it must have been poor sound only on the TV because the crowd in the stadium were singing along.

I was impressed with Mexico this evening. I can see them beating Croatia and qualifying for the knockout stages.

Can't wait for the Spain - Holland match tonight :D
