    The Walking Dead

    Genre: Drama, Horror, Thriller

    First Aired: 2010-10-31

Cast: Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Steven Yeun

Overview: The Walking Dead is an American horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont. It is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The series stars Andrew Lincoln as sheriff's deputy Rick Grimes, who awakens from a coma to find a post-apocalyptic world dominated by flesh-eating zombies. He sets out to find his family and encounters many other survivors along the way.

AMC has released two videos from the set of The Walking Dead, giving us our first look at what is coming in season 5! The first one is called "Greetings from the Set," and it features the cast and crew on the first day of shooting and them getting back into the swing of things. The second featurette is called "Props, Kills, and Explosions," and in it the cast and crew talk about their favorite walker kills, deadly props, and exhausting moments while shooting in the Georgia heat.

For those of you who are looking forward to the return of the amazing zombie series, then these are definitely worth your time to watch! The Walking Dead is set to return in October!

  2. Looks like Morgan might be back, brilliant news! :zcool:

The Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple recently had a sit down with Larry King where the two discussed the series and what is to come.
Among the more interesting things Gimple had to say is that fan-favorite character Morgan, played by Lennie James, will return to The Walking Dead.

"I am so determined to make that happen by hook and by crook I can say definitively yes." Gimple also offered the following teasers for The Walking Dead Season 5:
    • Season 5 looks to pick up right where season 4 left off.
    • We'll find out what happened to Beth in season 5: "absolutely."
    • Regarding the comics, the show will be a remix of specific content and inspired content.
    • Season 5 will be more action heavy.
    • Gimple answered "yes" to the question of another romance in season 5 other than Glenn and Maggie.
    • Check out more in the following video with Scott Gimple and Larry King talking The Walking Dead.
  3. There's a new teaser trailer available.

New photo reveals that Daryl has taken a bit of a beating, probably at the camp where they were all captured at the end of season 4. It is probably safe to assume that all the others in the group have received similar treatment at the hands of those running Terminus.

  5. Daryl (Norman Reedus) has been one of the most popular and visible cast members over the last two seasons and killing him would cause a huge uproar, along with Rick he's probably seen as the main threat to the people in Terminus and therefore they've given him a beating.

In a Talking Dead preview last week, show runner Scott Gimple let it slip that............

    Negan is coming

Gimple let it slip (casually) that Negan, one of the most ruthless villains from Robert Kirkman's comic book will "eventually" appear on the television show (but probably not this season).
  6. They won't kill off Daryl he's the best character!
  7. AMC has released their Comic-Con banner for The Walking Dead Season 5. It shows us the gang back together and ready to fight those cannibalistic survivors at Terminus.

  8. It premieres in the US on Sunday 12th October. Hopefully it will be shown in the UK within the week :zrawr:

    Official trailer for Season 5

Hopefully this means we'll finally see the end of those endless bloody forests; I saw a shot of a ruined cityscape, and with the arc apparently set around the quest to get to Washington, it'll be good to witness some new locations.
  10. That trailer gives a lot away!

I still can't freaking wait though!!!! :brains:
