  2. Just finished season 2 of Peaky Blinders. Absolutely loved it.

The music is fantastic, they didn't shy away from the violence and the presence of Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy is so good.

Can't wait for the third series.

  3. It was a fantastic ending to a excellent series. Cillian Murphy is sensational in this, brilliant portrayal of Tommy Shelby.

The first two seasons are on Netflix if anyone wants to watch it. Class show, highly recommended.

  4. Is this any good? Need something new to watch

  5. Very good and only 6 episodes per season.

  6. Watched season one. Really enjoyed it. Season 2 doesn't appear to be on Netflix and isn't free on Amazon Prime?

  7. Caught Season 2 on Netflix US. Brilliant final episode - especially the last 10 or 15 minutes. Can't wait to see what happens in Season 3

  8. I watched the 1st series on Netflix. Loved it so much that I actually bought the 2nd series on DVD. There's not much I like on telly but I thought this was excellent. Well written, great characters and plenty of twists in the tale.

  9. The season 2 finale was amazing, that final scene was really well done. I can't wait to see what comes next.

  10. Paddy Considine has joined the cast of BBC gangster drama Peaky Blinders ahead of its third season.

The new run of the Birmingham-set series has just begun shooting. Considine's character will apparently pit himself against Cillian Murphy's gang boss Tommy Shelby.

The show's creator Steven Knight has previously hinted that the next season will see more big name guest stars, with Tom Hardy already confirmed to be making a return as Alfie Solomons.

Considine joins regulars Murphy, Helen McCrory (Aunt Polly) and Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby). Next time around, viewers will see Shelby get caught in a more international conflict in the 1920s that puts his organisation and his family at risk.

Knight said of the new season: "I am genuinely thrilled at the prospect of season three. I think it will be the best yet. Lots of things familiar but lots of things are new.

"It's still a Birmingham story and it always will be. Now, it has international consequences. I can't wait to see it myself."

Cillian Murphy added: "It's the sign of a great show when by the second or third season it's richer than ever. The writing this year is the strongest it's ever been. It's off the charts."

Peaky Blinders will return to BBC Two in 2016.
