At Comic-Con Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder released the first official image of actress Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, she looks badass and the costume she's wearing is pretty spectacular. It will be interesting to see how she fits into the story.

Also Warner Bros. has moved the release date from May 6th, 2016 to March 25th, 2016. So there will be no longer be a box office showdown between Batman v Superman and Captain America 3!

  3. Moving it back would have suggested not having confidence, pushing it forward to a month not typically connected to box office smashes suggests the opposite really.

It was silly to go up against Captain America 3 anyway, Batman v Superman probably would have come out on top at the box office but having both released on the same day would have hurt the maximum potential of both.
  4. She looks imposing but the heels look ludicrous, but it's probably a miracle Wonder Woman is even featuring on the big screen. I wonder how much she features in the actual plot?
  5. I'm confused as to who the bad guy in this movie will be? I never read any of the comics and struggle with the idea that any human could defeat Superman. Ok the idea that Batman has kryptonite and a power suit might help but why would they be fighting each other anyway?

And how could Batman actually defeat Superman? He hardly beat Bane (I know, different world) - he'd have to kill him because if he doesn't and is using kryptonite in the battle, as soon as Superman moves away from him he'll get his strength back. Kill him and what happens to the character?

I dunno, I realise it's early days yet but for someone who hasn't read the comics this all sounds like a really terrible idea :confused:o_O
  6. Batman is the only man who Superman fears, because of his intellect.
If you get a chance watch the animated version. It is basically a near shot for shot remake of the comic so it's well worth a watch.

  7. I don't really know what to expect from this. Man of Steel was such a disappointment for the most part. But I'm pretty sure this will feature in the film as it's the line they used when the film was announced at Comic-Con 2013

  8. The thing is that comic takes place at the END of Batman's career. Their fight carries meaning because of their shared history. But in this film it's like DC/Warners just want to 'skip to the end' and have them fight without properly establishing their relationship?
  9. A few rumours surfacing that Jena Malone has been cast as Harley Quinn

  10. She definitely has a great look for playing Haley Quinn. I liked her in Sucker Punch - most people slammed that film but I thought it was great :smug:
