  2. Channel 4 is not known for good treatment of US imports.

I'll probably watch it although I'll more likely download it. Hopefully it will be in keeping with the films :cigar:
  3. Just watched the first episode, it was thoroughly enjoyable stuff. Not really sure if it will tie closely into the Marvel Comics Universe.
  4. I saw the first episode and it's a lot better than I expected. I'm going to catch up on the next two episodes this week :D

Kyle MacLachlan has joined the cast for Season 2. He will play Skye's father. The question of Skye’s parentage - including who her mum and dad are, how she ended up at an orphanage and why she is classified as an 0-8-4 - loomed large during Season 1. The season finale closed with Centipede’s Raina approaching a mysterious figure, presenting a photo of Skye and saying, "I found your daughter."

At Comic-Con it was revealed that Reed Diamond and Nick Blood will join the show for its second season. Diamond will play the villainous Daniel Whitehall early in the season. Daniel Whitehall has been depicted in Marvel Comics as the HYDRA agent Kraken, who hunts his victims with ruthless efficiency. Blood will portray Lance Hunter, a member of the British intelligence agency STRIKE, and is called in by S.H.I.E.L.D. director Coulson to bolster his organisation's ranks.

Lucy Lawless will be playing Isabelle Hartly
  8. Henry Simmons has joined the cast of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." in the recurring role of Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, a mechanic in his 30s. Inspired by the character that first appeared in NICK FURY VS. S.H.I.E.L.D. #3, in the series Mackenzie will be a mechanic in his 30s allying himself with Coulson’s team.

  9. Adrianne Palicki will play super spy Bobbi Morse, a.k.a. Mockingbird.

The character will appear in the fifth episode of the second season with the potential to return. The report says that "the episode will find her popping in perhaps not as an ally to Coulson and his team."

Barbara Morse was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent whose assignments made her an ally of the jungle lord Ka-Zar. She subsequently used the costumed identity of the Huntress and later Mockingbird to expose the corrupt activities of certain S.H.I.E.L.D agents. After being injured in her work she received a commendation by then S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury, who used her information to expose dozens of subversives within S.H.I.E.L.D.
